Exploring a more sustainable future for NHS and voluntary and community sector partnerships – NHS Confederation

The voluntary and community (VCS) sector play a vital role in supporting communities, providing care and delivering services across health and care. COVID-19 has had a significant financial impact on the VCS. Research by the Institute of Fundraising, NCVO, CFG and PwC shows that 84 per cent of charities reported a decrease in their income. The research, from June 2020, estimated a potential loss of £12.4 billion for charities this year.
